Greetings Family of Faith!
For almost two years, we have been struggling with the physical, mental, and emotional trauma of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our lives have been altered in every conceivable way. The emergence of the omicron variant has led to a sharp rise in infections to which we felt the need to respond.
You can rest assured that our church leaders are committed to providing a safe space for our Family of Faith to worship. Thus, effective immediately, seating will be limited to 150 people on the main floor, 50 people in the balcony, and 50 people in the Multi-Purpose Center.
Planning your attendance will again be required. You may plan your attendance on our website – www.peacefulrest.com or on our church’s app. For the month of January, prayer meeting will be held at 9:45 AM followed by worship at 10:15 AM. There will be no Sunday School classes.
In an effort to maintain adequate physical distance, worshipers are encouraged to be present at 9:30 AM to be properly seated. Families should sit together and arrive on the campus at the same time.
To ensure the safety of everyone, the doors to the sanctuary will be closed at 10:30 AM. Those who arrive after 10:30 AM will be directed to the Multi-Purpose Center (should space be available).
Temperatures will be taken and masks will still be required for ALL PERSONS at ALL TIMES while on campus. Unvaccinated members and guests are encouraged to worship virtually via Facebook or YouTube.
As these are very challenging times, we solicit your prayers, support, and cooperation. Remember – the Bible says, “obedience is better than sacrifice.” May our God continue to bless you and your family in the new year and in the years to come. Be Strong! Be Encouraged!
Pastor R. Timothy Jones
Until further notice, planning your attendance is required and worshipers are asked to arrive at 9:30 AM.
