THE PRESIDENT SPEAKS

Hello, Women of Faith! 

Women’s Month at Peaceful Rest Baptist Church is here, and we are so excited about what this month is going to be for us! This is such a beautiful opportunity for us to grow together, strengthen our relationships, and serve our community.

We’ve been talking about what we want this ministry to be, including how we want to grow, connect, and pour into others, and this month is our chance to really lean into that. So here’s what’s coming up:

WLM Monthly Meeting

• May 6th at 6:00-6:30 p.m. (bring your Bibles)

Big Sister–Little Sister Choir 

• May 10th- Wear shades of pink
• Rehearsal: Wednesday, May 6th @ 6:30 p.m.

Women’s Choir

• May 17th – Wear white (accessories of choice)
• Rehearsal: Monday, May 11th and Wednesday, May 13th at 6:30 p.m.

Outreach Initiative (drop off on Sundays or any ministry gathering)

• Donation Drive: Feminine hygiene items, diapers, and wipes

Sunday’s Best

• May 31st: Women are encouraged to wear dressy church attire and hats, if you choose

Fellowship Activities
• Matinee Movie & Lunch Fellowship on Saturday, May 23rd (details coming soon)

Fellowship Fitness Classes at 5:30 in the Life Center (all month)
• Tuesdays: Chair Aerobics
• Thursdays: Zumba
• Fridays – Line Dancing
• $5 per class (sponsored in part by Caddo Parks and Recreation)

Some of you will come to everything. Some of you will pick one thing and make it count. Either way, just don’t sit this month out. There’s something about being in the room with other women who are growing, serving and caring. We are looking forward to seeing you.
